About Empathy & Compassion: Building Destinies
At Empathy & Compassion (E&C), our mission is simple yet profound: We exist to help and improve the lives of the next generation around the world. With over 60 years of combined experience and more than 3,100 projects completed across 35 countries, we have seen firsthand that true transformation requires a holistic approach.
We don’t just build buildings; we build foundations for the soul, the body, and the future. Our work is centered on Four Pillars of Hope, an ecosystem designed to protect, nourish, and empower those who need it most.
Our Four Pillars of Hope
1. Multipurpose Children’s Centers & Pavilions: Nourishing the Future
Our centers serve as the vibrant heartland of the community. We provide a secure, loving environment for children and adolescents while their parents work, breaking the cycle of older siblings missing school to provide childcare. These are holistic sanctuaries where nutritious meals are paired with essential life skills, giving parents the peace of mind needed to build a lasting legacy.
2. Prosthetic Legs: Restoring Dignity
We bridge the gap between technology and compassion. Through our STEM Lab, students in the U.S. use 3D printing to fabricate prosthetic limbs, restoring mobility and dignity to individuals across Latin America. We don't just provide a device; we give individuals the ability to walk toward a brighter, more independent future.
3. Church Construction: Sanctuaries for the Soul
We provide spiritual guidance by building community spaces for just $14,000. These churches serve as lighthouses of hope, offering a permanent place for faith and fellowship in over-stretched global communities. They are the anchors that hold a community together through every season of life.
4. Dynamic Children’s Ministry: Investing in a Generation
We believe in transforming nations by equipping those who lead them. Beyond the physical walls, we lead a dynamic ministry that reaches thousands of children weekly. By training over 10,000 global leaders across 12 countries, we provide the mentorship, biblical foundation, and leadership training necessary to turn a "generation at risk" into a "generation of purpose."
Our Global Impact
Join us as we continue to impact more than 248,000 lives worldwide. Together, we aren't just changing lives—we are changing the world, one child, one leader, and one community at a time.
